hotel MONday Premium TOYOSU
Tokyo
Reviews
Front desk staff are kind and very helpful! For the price paid the hotel is nice, rooms are clean and tidy, AC works wonders, and room cleaning staff is kind yet efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel for those who don’t mind the distance from the major city areas and a bang for their buck! Note: Because this is a residential area the Japanese guests are judgmental and microagressive against foreigners (I understand Japanese and heard numerous nasty comments being made so this is based off of my personal experience. However don’t let that deter you from this hotel!)
Great hotel. Close Toyosu Station. 5-10 mins walk or by taxi AUD $8.00. AeON shopping centre across the road that has everything including a nice Food Court serving Japanese dishes. The Allaport shopping centre is near the Toyosu station with most modern stores and 20-30 cafes, restaurants plus a food court. Even a KFC, if you're a fan.
Compact rooms and very functional. Clean and quiet. Extremely friendly staff. 7-11 right next door which is extremely convenient. Only slight grumble is there isn’t any stairs. So you have to wait and wait and wait and wait sometimes for the lifts. I would rather quickly walk down / up the stairs. Other than that it was a wonderful stay !!
The place looks clean, from bed to the comfort rooms. They have stable internet connectivity, but the rooms we book doesn't have a window, not sure if other rooms does have. The staff were accomodating and they can converse in English (no need to use Japanese translators). The hotel is accessible in any supermarkets and establishments such as Aeon and 7/11. I recommend you to visit aeon to buy Japanese goods or havead meal there. It's way cheaper than 7/11. Also, it's 12 minutes away from Ginza and 15-20 minutes to Akihabara. You can book taxi or ride a train. Justwa 10-minute walk from the hotel to the station. Lastly, the food is great, buffet type.
