Reviews
Star Plaza Ikebukuro – Great Location, But Room Condition Needs Improvement The biggest advantage of this place is the location — it’s within walking distance from a station exit, which makes getting around very convenient. The area around the hotel is full of restaurants and bars, but that also means it can get quite noisy at night. Street noise and voices from outside could be heard inside the room. You can leave your luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which is helpful. The staff were friendly, and the price is quite affordable. There are also two elevators, so getting up and down isn’t a problem. However, the room condition was the main downside. The room felt quite old, and there was a noticeable amount of dust, giving the impression that maintenance and cleaning weren’t thorough. If you have allergies, this might be an issue. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option in a convenient location, but the cleanliness and room upkeep could definitely be improved.
Great option for a less expensive hotel. It's an older hotel. It was clean with good size room. Small breakfast was included with coffee juice bread and cup yogurt. Location was great for Ikebukuro.
