Great hotel beautifully designed. Very nice and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this for a stay. A bit away from all the madness of Tokyo but lots to eat in Asakusa and great direct connections to Shibuya
Our family traveled to Japan for our first visit from 5/1/26 thru 5/9/26. I came across this hotel through Expedia and did a lot of research to fine a great location for a reasonable price. Kaika hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were super friendly and helped us by giving advice on the best means of transportation. We had a situation where there was an issue with our door and they put us in a much larger room. The Bathrooms are very large vs the others that were seen at other hotels. The breakfast was pretty good, the soup didn’t have much seasoning but I liked it. It was only a 15 min walk to the nearest train station and 2 minute walk to the nearest 7-11. I would highly recommend this hotel! I would stay again!
Nice clean and stylish hotel. Can recommend it. Offers washing machines. Room service was a little bit weak - not refilling water. The walk to the next subway is about 15 min.
KAIKA Tokyo by THE SHARE HOTELS is located in Sumida, away from the crowds, and that was something I really appreciated. The area is quiet and peaceful, which made coming back to the hotel at the end of the day feel genuinely relaxing. I loved the concept of the art storage hotel. The design feels intentional and understated, with art naturally woven into the space rather than displayed for show. It gave the hotel a very distinct character without feeling overwhelming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It is one of those places that quietly leaves a good impression, and I would happily stay here again.
The location is a bit far away from the crowd but it’s really nice to stay in a quiet zone. Walking distance from the bridge, the building itself is not easy to recognise but pretty special. There are breakfast, tea bags and drinking water and the staffs are helpful. If u need some snacks at night, may bring back on the way back. It’s nice to have a room with so much space even it’s not a five star hotel. The place is strategically making good use of the space.
