The hotel is an excellent location, close to the subway and close to both 7/11 and Family Mart. If you walked towards the Ryogoku JR station there are plenty of restaurants. The area immediately around the hotel is quieter, which was nice for us because it felt like there was enough space to walk around without it being too hectic. The room was a good size (we stayed in the deluxe twin room), it was perfect for our family of 4. We could fit our suitcases in the storage area under the bed and had plenty of space to walk around. Loved the washing machine which had a drying function and it meant we did our laundry every night. We also had an amazing view of the skytree from our balcony. Kids LOVED the balcony.

This hotel was fantastic - had everything we needed to be comfortable after a long day walking and wandering Tokyo. Ueno is a calm and quiet area to relax, but close enough to popular surrounding neighborhoods to travel out from by train with ease. The team was very accommodating and friendly - they always greeted us brightly each time we were heading out or returning. Each unit has a small kitchen, so if you’re trying to save on food, you can prep it in the hotel room. I wish they have a soaking tub, but the shower has great water pressure. The roof top view is outstanding and a great place to relax and enjoy your coffee in the mornings. We will definitely return during our next trip to Tokyo!

Great place to stay while visiting Tokyo! Staff was so friendly and wonderful the whole stay. They have a very peaceful rooftop where you can hangout. Very easy access to the train and near a park. They had a washing machine in the room and coin dryer downstairs, so don't bring too many clothes like we did, wash them in your room. Highly recommend!!

This was such a great hotel and the staff made it even better for our two night stay. The staff were very kind and helpful and they spoke English. They offered us water upon our arrival and had it in the lobby everyday. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to the trains, 7-11 and Family Mart (all in walkable distance). Getting around to the city and attractionis was very convenient. We always felt safe here. The room was quaint--two double beds that were close but not touching. The room had a little kitchenette and fully stocked with dishes and cookware. A mini refrigerator and freezer, plus a washer/dryer combination. The dryer only dried about 80% so we had to take the clothes downstairs to the lobby area where they have to coin operated dryers costing 100 yen and they worked well. We were very grateful to have the ability to wash our clothes. It has a cute rooftop viewing/sitting area, but we were limited on our time and did not use it. The room was very clean and was fully stocked with toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, comb, shampoo, body wash, and laundry soap etc. The shower was plenty big enough and provided plenty of hot water for the three of us. The room had a great air conditioner as well. It was also very quiet at night so we were able to sleep well after a long day. The only downside was that the beds were VERY firm; however, after walking 35K steps/day, we did not have a problem falling asleep. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for others.

Great hotel, great location near metro station, family Mart, 7/11, family mart and a beautiful temple. The staff is so kind and will hold your luggage and it will be in your room when you check in. They also offered coffee and tea at reception if your dropping off your luggage. This hotel staff was absolutely wonderful and my experience here was fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. There's a beautiful rooftop for smokers and people who love views!
