The only positives about this hotel are the location and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, everything else was far below acceptable standards. We paid extra for breakfast and it was honestly shocking. On the first morning, the “hot” food was stone cold, the pastries were stale and crusty, the fruit was clearly canned, and the eggs were watery and inedible. On the second morning, we arrived early to give it another chance and there was almost nothing available — no eggs, no pastries, barely any food at all. After that experience, we did not return for the remaining three mornings and had to spend additional money eating elsewhere despite already paying for breakfast. The room itself was extremely disappointing. It was small, visibly dirty, and had stains on both the floor and walls. The pillows were rock hard with a strange gel padding, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. I did not get a proper night’s rest during our five-night stay and am genuinely leaving with back pain. While the staff were polite and the location is convenient, the overall standard of cleanliness, comfort, and breakfast service needs significant improvement.
Great location wise, however the room I had was a bit dirty and had a bright neon sign outside of it (obviously not the fault of the hotel, but doesn’t help with sleeping!). It’s on the famous Ginza Corridor so expect a bit of noise at night. Most of the staff are lovely. Breakfast costs 3000円 which isn’t too bad, but the selection is lacking a bit, and one morning they decided not to open until 8am instead of 7am, and then proceeded to have no food in the buffet apart from a few pieces of fish for the 20 minutes I waited. The front desk staff refunded me and I went elsewhere. Spa was great, never too busy. Overall : Stay if you’re into nightlife and happy to eat else where in the morning on occasion! Price could be cheaper all things considered and I think this is more likely a 3 star hotel.
The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the room is a decent size. Although it is close to the train tracks, we did not hear any noise during our stay. There are many dining options located in the same building and along the same street. The hotel is conveniently close to Ginza Metro Station, and a taxi to Haneda Airport costs about 8,000 JPY. Breakfast is served on the 10th floor and offers a nice view. The food selection is acceptable, though I wish there were more fruit choices.
