Staying at Hotel JAL City Tokyo Toyosu worked out really well for me. Having a station just a short walk away made getting around Tokyo easy, and I liked that there was a Lawson in the building for quick snacks or essentials. The area also has plenty of options nearby, so it felt convenient without being hectic. I would stay here again.
A modern, spotless, blissfully quiet hotel that makes staying in Toyosu surprisingly easy. Rooms are compact in the classic Tokyo way, but the layout is so smart you barely notice the size — everything has a place, nothing feels cramped, and the beds are genuinely comfortable. The bathroom feels like it belongs to a pricier hotel, with great water pressure and a deep tub that’s perfect after a long day. The location is ideal if you’re doing anything in Toyosu or Odaiba: close to the station, close to the bay, and in a calm, clean neighborhood that’s easy to navigate. Staff are friendly, efficient, and keep the whole operation running smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Just a consistently comfortable, well‑run hotel that delivers exactly what you want from a modern Tokyo stay. Zero complaints.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 6 days and we were so impressed. Check in was a breeze after arriving late in from an international flight. The hotel room was incredibly clean and tidy and was by far one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Beds were very comfortable (on the firmer side but we prefer this) and the room was very quiet. Didn't hear any noises from neighbouring rooms. Bathroom was well equipped with a very comfortable Japanese toilet, large shower and deep bath. Room was maintained daily with complimentary water bottles, and toiletries. The Lawson's convienece store on the ground floor was incredibly helpful for finding anything you may need at a moment's notice. The buffet breakfast was a very typical buffet. If you have been to a buffet before, you know what to expect. Would recommend getting the added breakfast package if available as there is very little near by that is open for breakfast. Front door to Shijō-mae station is a two minute walk which will get you into central Tokyo in 20 mins or so. Restaurant district near hotel is quite nice but geared towards tourists meaning prices are higher then typical restaurants but very convenient. Would highly recommend for a couple's no frills hotel stay. Clean, quiet, and calm.
I would rate this 5 if there is a easy access lobby for taxi drop off. we were driving to this hotel, and we was looking for the hotel entrance/lobby, we spent like 10 mins going round and round couldnt find. We ended up going into the parking to offload our luggages. Once we enter the parking, then only we see the "drop off" point. We ask the concierge to validate our parking ticket, still have to pay 700yen for less than 1 hour parking. Room is clean and we get amazing view facing the bridge and sea. Had a nice 4 nights at this hotel.
Our accommodations were impeccably maintained, although they were somewhat compact. The room we were allocated featured two individual twin beds, which presented an unusual sleeping arrangement for my husband and me. Fortunately, our stay was limited to a single night before our departure to the airport for our return journey. The in-room amenities met our expectations. The bathroom included a distinct wet room, equipped with a compact yet deep bathtub and an open shower positioned adjacent to the tub, which resulted in the tub becoming wet during showering. The glass door of this wet room also served as the shower door. A particularly appreciated feature was the provision of a fabric and room spray, which proved highly effective for refreshing garments, especially for items we intended to re-wear the following day. The hotel's breakfast service was satisfactory. Furthermore, the hotel staff consistently demonstrated a high level of helpfulness and amiability.
