Enjoyed a lovely spa stay at Hotel Minato. The room was spacious with a private sauna and soaking tubs. The room came with many extras (sample lotions, facial masks, bath salts, bath robes, free drinks, karaoke, etc.) and a drawer full of hair styling devices to use. It took about 20+ minutes to fill the tub. During the waiting time, one can take a shower then sit in the sauna for 10-15 minutes before washing up again to fully enjoy another 15 minutes soaking in the hot tub. Added the bath salts provided by the hotel for an added touch of relaxation. Remember to drink enough water afterwards to rehydrate. Breakfast was included for overnight guests. After selecting from the menu during check-in, the staff brought up the meal to the room the next day. As mentioned by others, the sleeping room does not have a window for viewing outwards. There is a window and a large opening to the sky above the hot tubs. It was a superb experience in the quiet neighborhood of Minato. Arrived early and fortunately the room was available for check-in. The staff was very accomodating and courteous and the rooms were clean.
Hotel suite was beautiful, big, clean and nice ambience. Has sauna, jacuzzi with various luxury amenities. But no windows to see outside as it is next to the road. Although they mentioned some ongoing construction at night, we didn’t hear much noise or disturbance. Room service was great, staff were very polite. They even provided us with umbrellas for our trip to the city as it was raining. Nearby train station is a 10min short walk away. There’s a great sushi place (take away only) and a self-service 24/7 bakery next door where you can get amazing pastries, local delicacies, drinks etc. many restaurants are nearby at walkable distance.
Very small and a strange configuration. Building standards are modern and nice . My room had a sauna but no wardrobe . We had to live out of suitcases . Breakfast was not up to scratch . Cleanliness was excellent. Very nice people . Totally different to any Western type hotel . Oh yah we even had karaoke in our room with mood lighting .
