Kimi Ryokan

I stayed again because the last experience was great, and the staff had a good attitude. What was a bit disappointing was the musty smell as soon as I entered the room, and I saw mold in the corner. I would appreciate it if this could be improved!
I wish I had stayed here longer. I only stayed one night and didn’t get to try the hot tub everyone raves about. The room itself had a lovely cypress wood scent that immediately gives you a traditional Japanese vibe. Hopefully, next time I’m back in Tokyo, I can stay a bit longer. For the price, location, and overall atmosphere, I honestly can’t think of a better place. For reference, I booked a room with a shared bathroom. I’m not sure if private bathrooms are available, but I believe they are.
From the moment we arrived at Kimi Ryokan, it felt like a little home-away-from-home. Perfectly located near convenience stores, supermarkets, and just a 10-minute walk to the station, exploring the city (and late-night snack runs) was effortless and stress-free. The staff were absolute stars. They helped us with our luggage from Narita and even delivered it straight to our next stop in Kyoto—seriously hassle-free travel vibes. The traditional bath was such a treat, though a heads-up: it’s reserved by room, so we had to book separate nights to enjoy it. And the in-house café? Total gem. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the matcha latte was a standout—though we wished they offered a bigger size! Expanding the menu would make it even better. Rooms were clean, comfy, and perfectly balanced between traditional Japanese charm and modern touches. All in all, Kimi Ryokan is a solid pick for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, great food and drinks, and a dash of authentic Japanese experience.
