The room is tiny and dated. Definitely need touch up with the bathroom and carpet. The elevators have cigarettes smell, mold in the bathroom, and stains on carpet. I felt bug bites at night time too ... Overall feels like a motel more than a hotel to me. Hotel staff is ok and have complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. It is walking distance from train station, taxi stop right outside of the hotel, ~ 15 mins walk to the fish market and shopping center. I would not recommend this hotel. The Mitsui Roppong could be a good alternative, more modern and high end.

The location was truly the best. The breakfest was full of great food and they had crepes that were very good. Also many options for breakfest. The style of hotle was enjoyable. The bar is nice also and serves a great late night menu. Great value ! Great view of Tokyo tower and King Kong was AI generated btw. 😆

This is not a 5-star hotel, despite how it is described online. During check-in, the staff themselves indicated that it is actually a 4-star property, so I do not understand why it is being presented as a 5-star hotel on some websites. The room was not clean, the amenities were disappointing, and the overall experience was far below what I would expect from a true 5-star hotel. For the same price, there are much better options available, including in the Ginza area. I would not recommend spending your money here if you are looking for a genuine luxury hotel experience. This is how we found our room at the arrival.

Stayed in Mitsui Garden Ginza Premier 8 years ago and again in June of 2026. Hotel quality is still excellent and in my opinion a very good value. My primary rating criteria (for a vacation hotel) are location, hotel cleanliness, staff friendliness, and other services. The location is excellent with access to many main stations (including Tokyo Station), walking distance to Ginza's well known shopping areas, excellent dining options, cafe's and great views from the Hotel's 16th floor lobby. Very easy access for cabs and Uber for Hotel is clean, staff are great, rooms are serviced expertly. Did not go to hotel restaurant - too many other options for Breakfast and Dinner in Ginza!.

Located close to Tokyo Station, making it easily walkable to and from the hotel. We did have our large luggage delivered (great service) for a nominal fee, so only had carry-on bag/backpacks. The 16th floor lobby has beautiful views of the city, including Tokyo Tower. The rooms are located in the ascending floors from there. They're well appointed but smaller overall. They could use a bit more space for laying out luggage, which can get tricky with multiple pieces. There was no closet, but a king size bed, so a little give and take. The hotel felt secure making it easy to leave belongings behind without worry while sightseeing, etc. It's definitely more in the business district, but felt comfortable enough for touring.
