Excellent stay with surprisingly spacious rooms by Tokyo standards, complemented by very comfortable bedding and cosy pyjamas that made every night restful. The location is perfect, with direct access to the subway and easy walking distance to the many restaurants, shops, and attractions around Ueno. A great combination of comfort, convenience, and value—an ideal base for exploring Tokyo, and I would happily stay here again.
I stayed at the Ueno for 4days during my trip to Tokyo, and it was an excellent choice in every aspect. The location was fantastic, the price was reasonable, and the service was outstanding. Being close to the station made getting around the city very easy, and there were plenty of restaurants, shops. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. This was one of the best decisions I made for this trip. Based on this experience, I would have no hesitation choosing the same hotel brand again anywhere in Japan. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very convenient location with a direct train from Narita Airport, which was exactly what we needed after a 14-hour flight. We had breakfast included with our reservation, and it exceeded expectations. It may have been one of the most balanced hotel breakfasts we've ever had, with plenty of fresh vegetables, protein options, excellent coffee, and great bread. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are well-designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Despite being next to a busy road, the room was remarkably quiet thanks to the double-pane windows. Overall, an excellent choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a great start to their time in Tokyo.
: Location: Super convenient location. Around a 600-meter walk to Ameyoko Market via the pedestrian bridge, passing through Ueno Station. It is also within walking distance to Takeya (Purple Building). Room: The room is spacious enough to fully open a large suitcase. However, the room feels quite old and had an unpleasant smell. Considering the price of around THB 10,000 per night, it did not meet expectations. Breakfast: The weakest point of the stay. Very limited choices and not much variety. Service: The staff provided excellent service — very friendly, helpful, and professional.
We stayed there 5 days and enjoyed it. Proximity to Ueno station was our main reason for choosing it as it's very close. The room was bigger than expected, very clean and cozy. Having an air purifier in the room was great. They're is a Family Mart across the street and lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The staff were exceptionally kind and considerate.
