Very good location. Near to Sensoji and Kaminarimon gate and Nakamise-dori shopping street area. Great nearby eateries and also very near to a cute supermarket with lots of fresh produce (Ozeki Supermarket). Near Asakusa Gyukatsu which was amazing for dinner! Go try it! Also wish there was a closer convenience store. Pls note, only reason I gave 4stars, I booked well in advance and requested our 2 rooms to be nearby or at the least, same floor but they were unable to accommodate and we were put on 3rd floor and 7th floor but would stay again.
Location and service are top tier. The rooms are extremely tiny. We were with two people, a set of two bags, two backpacks and a wheelchair. There was no floor space after we would pack in every night. Also, our door opened right in front of the elevator so privacy was a little bit of an issue. Still it was worth staying at.
Great value. The APA hotel in Nara had a bed which you could put your suitcase under, this APA hotel did not, which is annoying with 2 people in an 11 square meter room. Check in at both APA hotels was annoying but this check in was worse. They held my phone for 5 min reading through the confirmation email. Why isn’t giving them the reservation number enough and both passports? APA can have a better check in process as well. I stayed in Japan for 3 weeks and only was annoyed with APA checkin process but at least they did let me check in early 1pm in nara and check out relatively late checkout 1pm
Excellent locations, very close to senso ji, smalls rooms but the price and position make up for it, service is great from the staff, second time in these hotels so they are good for the area.
