I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an onsen experience that can truly soothe your body after a hectic day of sightseeing in Tokyo. The baths feature natural mineral spring water, which is quite rare in a bustling city like Tokyo. The quality of the food, rooms, and service is exceptional. It is definitely worth a visit.

The tatami concept of the hotel is very homely. We booked the triple room and it was spacious in Tokyo’s context. The only con is that there’s not much view from the room, but its acceptable. We didnt experience the noise that other reviews were saying. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Breakfast spread is worth it - cold dishes, sashimi rice, noodles, bread, yogurt, fruits etc. There’s free probiotics drink in the morning too. Onsen was comfortable and clean. During peak AM, there’s still enough space to move around. For location, it is not really convenient? It’s very far walk from Asakusa station. Took us 3 lines to Disneyland. There’s so much eateries/restaurants around to try. There’s Uniqlo/Don Quixote/GU nearby too so shopping is covered. Overall highly recommend if you plan to explore Asakusa in depth, which we did. Because there’s so much to explore in the area. Also if you can wake up early, pls go to Sensoji as early as you can, to avoid the tourists who will stream in after 8am.

I booked this hotel through Ikyu because I wanted a room larger than 25 square meters. One thing to note: you need to use Chinese for Google Maps navigation, as searching in English kept directing me to other nearby hotels. Although the location wasn't exactly what I expected, the hotel facilities are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. For long stays over 7 days, full housekeeping is only free once, but they take out the trash every day and thoughtfully provided a diaper pail with extra trash bags. The soundproofing is quite good, and the complimentary Yakult, ice cream, and late-night ramen were absolute lifesavers!

As a first time female solo traveler I couldn’t recommend this place more. Although it is a little way out of Tokyo it’s in a beautiful spot right next to Sensō-ji temple (added bonus you’ll get to see it without all of the mass crowds) the location is secluded enough to shield from noise on the street. There are train stations less than 5 mins walk from the hotel as well. The check in staff were lovely and accommodating towards me. They also provide beautiful hot springs (tattoos must be covered) and free ramen after 9PM! I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Japan

Better signage to this building might be useful as we saw a few couples getting lost as they could not find the entrance or they went to the main hotel. It took a while to get used to taking off shoes in the main reception, but that was good as it kept the hotel areas clean. We liked the onsen in the basement, and also tried the free half bowl of ramen, and the ice cream bars and lollies. The laundry area was a god send, though you need to get the keys to both washer and dryer from reception. The dryer costs 100y for 30 minutes while the washer is free. The room was a good size, with separate toilet and bath areas. The bed was comfortable and built low to the ground, but the pillows were super hard. Wifi worked well in the room, and there was a bit of noise from the eateries nearby but that was okay once the blinds were down. Do note that taxis do not drop people directly at the hotel, so you might need to trundle your luggage a few short streets over.
