Ostay Ueno
Tokyo
Reseñas
Ostay Ueno sits in a calm residential pocket that turns out to be almost exactly equidistant from Ueno Park and its museums, Ameyoko market under the tracks, and the station. Everything fifteen to twenty minutes on foot, but at the end of the day you come back to silence. That balance is genuinely hard to find in this city. The flat itself is well thought through for a group of four — not enormous, but organised in a way that makes the space work. Kitchenette, proper sitting area, room for luggage, and a washing machine that was an unexpected lifesaver mid-trip. The landlord was excellent throughout — responsive, proactive, sorted everything we needed without fuss. A quiet street with a convenience store nearby, easy walking access to one of Tokyo's best neighbourhoods, and a host who clearly takes pride in it. Exactly what you want for a few days.
Ostay Ueno was a really convenient stay 🤍 The room was clean and comfortable, and having two bathrooms was a big plus—especially for group travel. It’s about a 12-15-minute walk to Ueno Station, but there’s a closer metro station nearby (Inaricho), which made getting around easier 🚇✨ There are also supermarkets and Daiso nearby, which was super convenient for quick shopping. The area is quiet at night, so the walk back can feel a bit empty, but overall still a great base for exploring Tokyo.
It’s conveniently located close to Ueno station, use the Iriya exit for the quickest way to get to Ueno station. The room is a big open space with four beds. And there are two toilets in the room to accommodate the guests. Host was kindly enough for us to check out late. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Last time we came to Tokyo we were in an Interontinental Hotel, the room was tiny. Here at Ostay Ueno we wrer so comfortable. We were 4 feiends, it had 4 full beds, a nice table , two Wcs. We had everything we needed and good location!
