Satellite Hotel Higashiazabu
Tokyo
Reseñas
Well-appointed apartment hotel, great for groups, with self-service secure smart lock to get in (there’s not hotel desk, just direct access with the code emailed shortly before the booking date). Very nearby to the Tokyo American Club (for those with reciprocal privileges, the TAC is an oasis with restaurants and a massive wellness facility including a rooftop pool, and has a convenient members back entrance on B3 on the hill going up to Azabudai Hills, but an introductory letter is required from the reciprocal club). With several separate bedrooms and a full living room and kitchen with plates, cups and utensils and stovetop, also microwave, electric kettle and rice cooker, and small dishwasher, as well as laundry machine with detergent, it also works well for longer stays. Beds were comfortable and linens etc were all supplied. The neighborhood is residential and quiet but there’s a 24-hour Lawson within a 3 minute walk and lots more nearby, including the Azabujuban train station. Management was highly responsive when we sent messages asking about where to take out trash (there’s a locked bin in front, and also on the same block there’s a municipal collection point for recycling and trash with a sign saying different days). Would recommend to groups. Note that the beds are predominantly twin sized beds and there’s very little room for luggage. In the 4-bedroom unit (101 on the first floor) be aware that there’s only one twin bed in that one, but the other bedrooms have 2 beds each.
