I went here with the expectation to get a cozy bar with a maximalistic gaming style. And it delivered on that. Amazing. Retro-Gaming knick-knacks all around you. If you are the type of person that does not want to interact with other patreons - the owner provides you with a Game Boy and assortment of games to play while you have your drink. What I did not expect was the excellent selection of craft beer they serve. Local stuff as well. So if you are a beer fan, this is a real gem!
We stumbled across this bar and it was awesome!! Such a fun place !! We played with game boys and had a few drinks! Yuzu beer is yummy!! Such a cute little bar definitely come check it out ☺️
Cozy and fun little bar filled with nerdy nostalgia that’ll make you reminisce about the Anime and Video Games you grew up with. It’s definitely going to be a tight fit with a big party of average—and not-so-average—sized Americans, but that’s to be expected at a small local izakaya tucked away in the narrow alleyways of Tokyo. There’s a steady stream of video game music (MIDI madness!), tasty local brews (available in half pours or full pints), and bar food ranging from simple snacks like beef jerky and pickles to unique options like karaage or pastrami duck (the winner of the night). And yes—everyone gets a Game Boy with unlimited vintage cartridges to play to their heart’s content!
