Cozy and elegant experience. The owner (and bartender) was so kind and made some of the best drinks in Tokyo. He was extremely hospitable despite the language barrier. If you are in the area, or just looking for a calm lounge while in Tokyo, I'd highly recommend making the time to visit. There is a small cover charge, but that is nothing considering the excellent service and food provided for you. I'd absolutely go again.

Food is five stars the whisky and the service is a 10/10. One of the best bar experiences I've ever had and I've drank in a few. The man can pour a whisky and the crew that come through the door to share the experience just adds to it.
Went out and had a great time. Had to wander to find this place but it was a highlight of my trip. The bartender put on a great show making my drinks and the atmosphere was perfect with his vast selection of whiskey behind the bar. He plays the trumpet and will do a lil show if you ask politely. He's willing to accommodate non Japanese speaker. Great place to have a few drinks on a rainy night you might even meet a millionaire from Singapore like I did 😂 thank you Brian for the great conversation.
The bar is cozy and elegant with really nice cocktails! The drinks serves with some Japanese snacks. It is also a good place to Mr. Tomiyoshi is a very professional and friendly bartender. You can ask him to give recommendation based on your preference in drinks. He even treated us with sandwiches and we enjoyed it a lot. ^^ It is a hidden gem in Ueno. If you are looking for a chill drinking experience in Tokyo and not far away from Ueno, just go there!
