This was a wonderful experience! Despite having curly hair, which is unusual in Japan, the head spa and the styling service after were done perfectly. Everything was very relaxing, and my hair and scalp feel noticeably healthier. I would highly recommend this spa and I hope to come back someday!
I had always seen people get deep cleaning head spas online and wanted to get one myself. I can say this place was amazing! Watanabe Rina was so kind and thorough; she asked me my concerns, explained why they were happening, and how to fix them. She also went over every step of the process with me. She was the best! My hair also came out so clean, fresh, and healthy! If or when I come back to Tokyo I'd love to see her again 💖
I booked my mom and I our first head spa experience at Head Spa zwei HAUS and it was amazing! We were running late (so sorry again!) but the therapists didn't make us feel bad at all and in fact were ready to welcome us! The language barrier was not an issue with Google translate handy. You can pick from two 'menu' items - one is more massage focused and the other was for deep scalp cleansing. I had Watanabe-san for my session and she was absolutely lovely and super friendly. The massage was amazing and just strong enough to relax you completely. Would definitely come back again and I won't be late this time :)
This place is amazing! On the 4th floor. Intimate space with only 2 treatment rooms. I did the 90 min session and they let you choose between a relaxation treatment or deep cleanse scalp treatment. I went with the latter and they trailered it to my fine hair type. They start with a scalp analysis (they do a before & after scan), dry scalp head massage, double cleanse, conditioner, and blow dry/simple style your hair. They want you to completely relax, which I greatly appreciate. I booked my treatment online and will definitely go back.
Found this Head Spa via Google search and decided to schedule an appointment based off the amazing reviews received. (PREFACE: I am a 40yr old American (Hawaiian) in Japan for tourism/ leisure travel and will be writing this review in English.) I was able to schedule an appointment on their website for same day availability. I used public transportation the entire time I was vacationing in Japan so caught a taxi to this head spa location. BUILDING/ENTRANCE- Taxi dropped me off at the corner and I was able to find the store front based on pictures by others who left a review. Please see my pictures for entrance of head spa. Once you enter the building you can either take the stairs or there is a narrow elevator to the fourth (4F) floor that will take you to their front door. LOBBY / TREATMENT ROOMS- The lobby has a very Zen feel about it and calmness immediately takes over. My provider for my appointment was MAKABE. She was very kind, patient and knowledgeable in her position. There is a single stall restroom off the entrance and she has her treatment room to the left when you enter, and it appeared to be her office to the right. When you enter it is the lobby/ sitting area. Makabe took me into the treatment room right away where she sat me on the upright chair and did an assessment of my scalp. Never expected to see my scalp/ hair follicles so up close and via her microscope device. It was so cool to see it so zoomed in as a BEFORE and later an AFTER. TREATMENT- I received a two hour service and let me tell you, Makabe was very patient with me as we used her mobile device to translate each other. She is very strong for her size and you can tell she knows what she's doing when getting my head spa treatment performed. I fell asleep several times on her and came out of my treatment with the lightest feeling, and also how clean my head felt. It honestly felt like a pillow afterward. She gave me a blow out and gave me tips on how to care for my hair/ scalp. OVERALL- next time I come to Tokyo, I will definitely stop by to see her again. I HIGHLY recommend this head spa to ANYONE in the area looking for a head spa day. She was amazing and I will return!
