Amazing location only a few mins walk from the main Shinjuku stations. The place is an upgraded old hotel and done nicely. It's not perfect but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are secure, the air con works.
Hard-to-find entrance. Manager was quick to assist for any issue. Tight space consumed by large chair (could have used a smaller foldable chair instead). And don't dry outside, balcony is over a restaurant vent, clothes smells like dinner.
The room is small as expected there very little spaces to put bags and such, the room definitely needs a touch up but it was expected for the price we paid, the worker at the front desk was lovey though. The location is nice not far from the train station but a massive warning it is loud you can hear everything outside and the rooms are not sound proof at all so you can hear a lot. It also in a back alley though a nice alley.
Location is the best thing of this place. In the heart of Shinjuku, rooms are quite small but great amenities (tea katle , fridge, hair dryer, utensils, AC, table chair ) very nicely placed in a tiny room. My room was good enough for one person Only. I am not sure they have bigger rooms as well or not. The main door will be closed after 2200hrs so must remember the Password to enter late at night. Visited in Feb 2026, Good value for the money.
Had an amazing stay at Shinjuku Apartment hotel! First of all, the location is amazing. Literally RIGHT next to the Shinjuku train station where you can easily get a train to anywhere in and around Tokyo. It is also walking distance to the lively and busy Shinjuku district where you can find really good shopping, night life, restaurants etc. The hotel itself is on a quiet side street which means I was never bothered by loud noises and city lights. The room was very small (as expected - you get what you pay for) but had a very good layout and was very clean. I had a tiny kitchen (fridge, kettle, cooking plate, sink) and the bathroom was tiny but the layout was very thought through which meant it didn’t feel cramped. Also - the lighting was good (good for doing make-up)! The room had plenty of hooks to hang your clothes on and an AC so that you could regulate temperature. Staff was also incredibly friendly and service minded. They didn’t offer luggage delivery service themselves but quickly offered to help me fill out the form in japanese so that I could take my bag to the nearest seven eleven (which is 80 metres away by the way) to have it sent from there. Overall a great stay! Note however that I was a solo traveler staying in a room for two people. I can imagine it would feel significantly smaller if you were to people staying there!
