Very good location: between shimbashi station and Ginza, so we can access to many places during the day and stroll to Ginza for shopping. We like affordable places like uniqlo, GU, Muji and Itoya. The other side of Shimbashi has many affordable food options as well. We could see 2 different life styles on both sides of the stations: salary workers who got off work to eat/drink vs hostesses who are coming to work at upscale bars to entertain rich clients. Don Quijote and Ginza happo buffet are just a few steps away. I waited until off peak hours to shop since the store opens 24/7. Hotel has free snack and drink/coffee. We chose free breakfast (in room only) which is very convinient. Its simple but we didnt have to find food for every meal. They alternate between western vs japanese style. If you stay in premium rooms, the upgraded lounge has more wines/ice cream/spaghetti so you dont have to find food midnight.
We absolutely adored our stay at this hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of Ginza, just a block away from both the metro station and Shinkansen stop. By the end of our trip, we were thrilled with our choice - the location was ideal, bustling during the day and peaceful at night. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips, and the rooms were spacious and immaculate. The complimentary snack, coffee, and bar area was a wonderful bonus. This hotel is a fantastic deal - don't hesitate to book!
While the karaksa hotel premier Tokyo Ginza shines in terms of location and room design, the overall value proposition is difficult to justify. Travelers expecting a full-service luxury hotel will likely find the experience lacking. Location & Service The hotel’s location in the heart of Ginza is unbeatable. The staff is professional and helpful. However, the management's policies feel overly rigid; for example, every hour of a late checkout past 11:00 AM is billed immediately. While Tokyo is an expensive market, this lack of flexibility feels like "nickel-and-diming" the guests. Room & Amenities We stayed in an Executive Twin Room on the 10th floor, which represents the hotel’s top category. It was a spacious corner room with a magnificent view and an exceptional bathroom featuring a rain shower and a deep soaking tub. It is worth noting, however, that our experience was likely the exception; other room categories in the building are significantly smaller and can feel quite cramped for the price. The "Hotel" Misnomer It is important to manage expectations: this property lacks several standard 4- or 5-star amenities. There is no fitness center and no on-site restaurant. It functions more like an upscale lodging house than a comprehensive hotel. The Breakfast & Value Disconnect The most significant disappointment is the breakfast. At this premium price point, a "breakfast box" delivered to the door—with very meager and almost laughable contents—is simply unacceptable. It is a "no-go" that leaves one feeling short-changed. If the hotel prices itself as a "premier" destination, it should provide a breakfast that deserves the name. Verdict A great choice if you book the top-tier rooms and only care about a beautiful view in a prime location. However, the price-performance ratio is "beyond good and evil." Due to the lack of facilities and the poor culinary offering, you may find better value in a traditional full-service hotel nearby.
Originally, I chose this hotel because of its location. However, the quality and service exceeded my expectations. All the staff were very kind and responded quickly to my requests.The morning delivery service was excellent. It was delivered exactly at the time I requested, and the food tasted great.All the amenities were of high quality, from the Dyson hair dryer to the soft towels. The pajamas were comfortable and changed every day.Especially, the duvet was the best — it was incredibly comfortable and helped me sleep so well.Thank you to everyone at Karaksa Hotel. If I visit Tokyo again, I will definitely stay at Karaksa without hesitation.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious (for Tokyo hotel) and while it lacks great views( we had 10th room street view) it makes up in location. Walking distance to Shimbashi station and Ginza. We spent 4 nights there and are going back for an overnight next week. The coffee in the lounge is excellent. And how can you not love free beer and wine.
