We stayed here for five nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. The check-in staff were welcoming, efficient and polite. Our initial impression of the hotel wasn’t the best, as the lobby felt a little dated and quite busy, but that quickly changed once we got to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and offered a lovely view. There were a couple of pillows missing when we arrived, but housekeeping brought them promptly after we requested them. Breakfast was one of the highlights, with an excellent selection catering to both Japanese and Western tastes. Although it became busy during peak hours, it was well organised and never felt chaotic, with staff keeping everything well stocked. The area is a quiet decent area for professionals who prefer to be away from the chaos and bustling night life of other parts of tokyo. Overall, despite the modest lobby, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with friendly service and good value. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.
I had an excellent stay at Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake during my visit to Tokyo. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its fantastic location. It is just a short walk from the nearby metro stations, making it incredibly easy to reach Tokyo's major attractions, shopping districts, and business areas. Whether travelling by metro, taxi, or on foot, getting around the city was effortless. The rooms were clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable stay with sufficient space for luggage by Tokyo standards. The bedding was comfortable, the washroom was spotless, and the overall cleanliness of the room was maintained to a very high standard. The lighting and air conditioning were excellent, creating a relaxing atmosphere after long days of exploring the city. A standout feature of the hotel is its complimentary shuttle service to the Tokyo Disney Resort parks. The free shuttle was punctual, comfortable, and made visiting Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea incredibly convenient without the hassle of arranging additional transportation. The hotel also offers a convenient breakfast within the premises, making it easy to start the day before heading out. The lobby is spacious and well-organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff were consistently courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with any request while greeting guests with a smile. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, efficient, and completely hassle-free. Overall, Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake offers outstanding value, modern comfort, excellent cleanliness, exceptional service, and superb connectivity to the rest of Tokyo. The added convenience of the complimentary Disney shuttle makes it an even better choice for families and anyone planning to visit the Disney parks. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base while visiting Tokyo.
I’m not much of a complainer, but I wasn’t very impressed with this hotel. Our first room smelled strongly of smoke, so we requested to change rooms which they were happy to oblige. Unfortunately the AC in our new room barely worked. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. I had initially been given one breakfast ticket, so I decided to request another for my wife for the following morning. However, we didn’t end up using her ticket and they refused to take that off of our bill. I would understand if I had already paid, but I hadn’t. Disappointing. The hotel is in a very good location though, surrounded by good restaurants and close to the train station. The bathrooms are nice and spacious
I stayed for a conference that was just across the road. This isn't a super fancy hotel or anything, but it gets the job done. Really handy that there's a Lawson's convenience store in the building on the second floor. The location was perfect for me because I was attending a conference. However, it is reasonably far (by train) to the centre of Tokyo and to places like Asakusa. So if you're a tourist wanting to visit the main parts of Tokyo, this isn't the best location. It is pretty convenient for Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. Not far at all by train. The rooms are small-ish, but definitely not the smallest I've stayed in in Japan! I did have just enough space to open my suitcase fully. There's a fridge in the room and a kettle. Aircon worked well.
This hotel deserves a higher rating than what it's saying on Google. The cleanliness and comfortableness of our room and the lobby, the high quality of service provided by the staff, and it's perfect location which is a short walking distance to local transportation, convenience stores, and attractions, makes this hotel an excellent choice for everyone; families, couples, and individuals alike. We'd definitely want to come back and stay here when we return to Tokyo! Aloha from Hawaii🌺
