Let me share my experience and thoughts about this cute yet convenient hostel. 1. Friendly and Helpful Staff The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Most of them are university students working part-time while studying. Some speak English very fluently, and they are always happy to help with any questions or requests. 2. Cozy Common Area The hostel has a cozy lobby where the pantry and living area are combined into one comfortable space. Many guests spend their time here working, studying, or simply relaxing. You can use the microwave, stove, and refrigerator from morning until 11:00 PM. If you store food in the refrigerator, don’t forget to label it with your name. The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and I saw many people working remotely or attending online meetings without any issues. 3. Dormitory Room I stayed in a dormitory room. There are no large lockers that can fit suitcases, but you can store your luggage under the bunk bed or next to your sleeping capsule. The hostel does provide a small locker for valuables such as passports, wallets, and other important belongings. 4. Clean Facilities and Useful Amenities The toilets and shower rooms are clean and well-maintained, with sufficient amenities provided. Towels can be rented for 100 yen, and slippers are available for purchase at the lobby. One thing I really appreciated was the shower room with a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking in warm water and relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. 5. Excellent Location The location is incredibly convenient. Akihabara Station is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to get around Tokyo. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, and you’ll never run out of dining options. The area is especially lively in the evening, with many restaurants, bars, and izakayas where people gather after work to enjoy dinner and a cold beer.

Nice and cozy lobby Staff was nice and friendly The dorm capacity it's quite alot so the chance of getting a bad mix bag is much higher Towel, slippers etc you need to buy/ rent from them sadly Would be nice if they include either the towel or slippers on the house Wifi mostly slow or kept disconnecting so i end up using my mobile data Dorm, i was unlucky the first night there were group of people (A) talking loudly inside the dorm at 11pm which is the quiet hour. Noises from people Settling down after check in is understandable. Inside your bed area theres only a small place to put your small stuff A hanger would be nice There are holes on the other end of the bed where they can probably add a long strip of wood for storing stuff Their locker is tiny for valuable I didnt use it at all wish it was bigger but they utilised it on more bed capacity. Toilet and shower is nice, somehow there's a tub in one of them. Overall it was ok No hard feeling but i think i prefer the one at kanda more Dont get me wrong i like this hostel

My stay at &AND Akihabara was incredible. The staff was so helpful and kind, giving me tips for things to do, teaching me some Japanese phrases and generally just chatting which helped me settle down in Tokyo for my solo trip. The location couldn't be better if you're planning on exploring Akihabara. It's actually a quiet spot, while being just a short walk away from the core of Akihabara. The bed was nice and cosy, the restrooms and showers were clean. It did get a bit on the warm side sometimes, but nothing a bit of air condition couldn't handle. Thanks to the staff, I will not forget my stay.

The girl at the reception was super nice and welcome, willing to help all the time, but the hostel is a little bit packed, not clean at all for a Japanese standard, shoes inside… but the worst thing is how warm is inside the capsule, even letting the curtains opened, they should consider an A/C or more ventilation.

The beds are comfy, the showers and toilets are nice and it's good that those are in a separate room from the dorm. Location is great and staff is helpful, they let me store my luggage a week before checkin at a reasonable fee. But, the capsules are way too hot. It's December and no, it's not that the building is that hot. I felt the heat come from the Ac units. They do it on purpose, I don't know why. You can borrow a dusty desk fan but that just trades a little cooler air for a lot of noise. Bathroom area smells moldy. Plenty of space for suitcases but no lockets. Only miniature lockers for a wallet, not for anything larger. Also no seperate luggage area which in practice means that people will ignore quiet time and you hear zippers at full volume at all hours of the night. Also had two horrible nights with someone coughing all night. No self awareness at all, you really had to book a bed in a 25 dorm room when you can't be quiet. So all in all, a mixed bag. Probably fine for 1-2 nights. I stayed 4 which was too much, did not get enough rest.
