We absolutely adore this hotel. It's great for kids and families. Perfectly situated near the main train stops and right across the street from the Ueno Zoo area. During the summer, there is a festival with food booths and games, right across the street every night. Julie was fantastic and very helpful during our stay!
Had a great stay at &Here TOKYO UENO with my family of 4. The room was comfortable, clean, and pretty well maintained. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The location was very convenient, with plenty of food options within walking distance and just a short 5mins walk to the train station. Both kids also loved the bunk beds. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Stayed with family (3 adults, 1 child + 1 infant) and it was exactly what we needed! Added the very affordable breakfast buffet as it’s one of the only places that have food early morning and it was amazing! My family and i are still dreaming about the very soothing, home-cooked vibes of our meals there. It’s also right across the street from Ueno park, which is beautiful! The amenities were great, including the wonderful onsen on the roof. I would definitely stay again.
It is our first time in Japan and we had been told to expect small rooms unless we specifically booked a larger option which we did here at &Here and it was worth it. The room was lovely and spacious, the view was also great and with our little one we spent a lot of time looking out the window leaving new words! The staff were incredible and the location is perfect for wandering the park and the side streets and finding great food! One thing that wasn’t brilliant for us was the breakfast, it was really really busy and the space was quite small. It would have been great to have a few more options or yoghurt especially for the little one but we managed and it didn’t take away from the stay and that we would highly recommend this hotel!
Such a lovely little hotel! Although the room was on the smaller side, the set up was so resourceful, cosy, clean and comfortable and perfect for the two of us (we especially loved the pajamas and amenities provided). The staff were phenomenal, all of them were so attentive and friendly and assisted us with queries regarding trains, luggage couriers and the local area. The kitchen staff were also so lovely and provided an amazing breakfast with a mix of Japanese and western options, we ate the hotel breakfast every morning! The location is also incredible, directly opposite Ueno Park, bus stop, 7-Eleven on the same block, train station and market a short walk away and so many eateries and bars to explore close by. We will definitely be staying again!
