Outstanding hotel. Even though the room was very small, it was very clean, and comfortable, making for a great stay overall. There are just a few areas that could be improved: 1. It would be a nice touch to have complimentary bottled water already placed in the minibar, rather than having to collect it elsewhere. 2. There should be a towel hanger next to the sink. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again.
I had an amazing experience at the Lyf Shibuya Tokyo Hotel. As an American traveler, it truly felt like a home away from home feel. The room was a bit smaller than I expected, but my partner and I were able to make it work comfortably. The location was excellent because it was close enough to all the excitement and attractions, yet the rooms still remained surprisingly quiet thanks to the hotel’s effective soundproofing. The washer and dryers were super clean and were always available. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. I especially want to recognize Lira, who went above and beyond when I needed assistance making a return for my Amazon Japan purchase. The return instructions were entirely in Japanese and was confusing to decipher but Lira patiently guided us through the process and helped ensure the package was sent to the correct return address. Her kindness and professionalism made what could have been a stressful situation incredibly easy. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Tokyo.
We had a great time at this hotel. Kind staff, super centrally located. Rooms were very quiet (no street noise) and bed was comfortable. We would absolutely come back here. Enjoyed the hotel restaurant and used the gym a few times (note it is mostly cardio machines, very few weights). Would recommend!
Overall a good stay. The location is excellent, very convenient yet quiet surprisingly. The staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and there were good amenities (gym, kitchen, laundry, water, luggage storage). The rooms are small but manageable. The biggest downside was that the AC did not work in my room. The biggest issue is that it seemed overpriced as it was the most expensive hotel during my stay in Japan, but I think the price is mostly for the location and convenience.
Great experience at this hotel. Great location - across from Parco mall, blocks away from Shibuya Crossing and train station, very convenient with access to wash & dry, a common kitchen area you can hang out while you are waiting for your laundry, and a small workout gym with a treadmill, elliptical & bike all located on the 2nd floor. Bathroom is well-sized and comfortable. Modern design. Great use of space in the room - you can store your luggages under the bed, there is no closet but plenty of cute hooks to hang your jackets. Clean. Friendly staffs. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
