Breakfast was so good! Lots of options, even for kids. Service from staff was great too. We had a feeling the room was going to be small, but with all of our big check-in luggages, carry-ons and stroller, there wasn't a lot of room to move around. Beds were comfy nonetheless!

The economy twin room was incredibly cramped, with virtually no floor space to walk or even open a 22-inch suitcase. We ended up paying an extra 4,000 yen to upgrade to a deluxe twin room. While the upgrade gave us enough space to move around and open our luggage, the room layout was a bit odd; the toilet and bathroom are separate, and the massive sink counter felt like a waste of space that could have been better used for walking area. Additionally, the hotel is a 10-minute walk from the metro station, which can be quite a trek if you are hauling heavy bags.

We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) at Hotel Keihan Asakusa. Overall, the experience was average. The location is convenient, right in Asakusa, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transport. That part worked well for us as a family. However, the rooms had micro dust, which made them feel less fresh and clean than expected. Space was manageable but not particularly comfortable for four people. Staff were polite and helpful, but the overall service and facilities felt more standard than memorable. In summary, Hotel Keihan Asakusa is a functional choice if you want to stay near Asakusa, but the room quality could be improved for a better family experience.

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel in April 2026. Hotel is very clean, staff are very attentive and helpful. Rooms are tight as with all Japanese hotels but total workable with two people with 3 luggage’s and backpacks. Beds are comfortable, room temperature is adjustable. We liked it cool. Close to lots of great places. Very safe, but to be honest we always felt safe everywhere in Japan.
