"The ultimate cozy adult hideaway: Steam sauna, far-infrared stone sauna, and sauna theater." Compact yet both the dry and steam saunas are wonderfully hot. The cold plunge pool is also spacious and refreshing. The sauna theater on the 6th floor features show Aufgus performances by HIKARI, the daughter of the owner of Sausen, and other guests. The food is also delicious. A facility you'll want to stay overnight.
First visit. Since my trip to Scandinavia was cancelled, I went here as a warm-up before going to Ueno Zoo. I was interested in Sauna Center because it was featured in a video by a certain [name redacted]. Two types of saunas. The temperature was just right, allowing me to sweat gently. Excellent. I'm still learning about the steam sauna. Cold plunge pool: This was cold. Around 13-15℃. Because the tub was shallow, it felt even colder for some reason. Bath: 42℃. A pleasantly hot temperature. Indoor relaxation area: 4 chairs, perfect layout. Conclusion: An excellent sauna facility. Old-fashioned atmosphere x TV sauna x hot water = a great combination. Events after 4 PM will have to wait until next time.
I went on a Friday evening and it was great because it was practically empty! There were a few people with bad manners, but I ignored them and went on a solo sauna-to-rooftop loop. I went to the rooftop two or three times and each time I was the only one there, lol. The guy who did the löyly was also very kind, and when I went to the cafeteria after the sauna, I found out he was working there too, so I said a quick hello, lol. He seems to have a lot of work to do and it looks tough, but keep up the good work! It was really great!
February 22-23, 2026 I stayed in a capsule. There was one sauna on the second floor and one in the sauna theater on the sixth floor. It was a Sunday before a national holiday, but for some reason, there weren't many people there. I attended the last session at the sauna theater at 9:30 PM, but there were only about seven other guests. I looked out at Tokyo Skytree from outside on the sixth floor, unaware that at that very moment the elevator had stopped, trapping 20 people inside and causing chaos. The restaurant's last order was at 10:30 PM, so I quickly drank a beer. For breakfast, I had a ginger pork set meal.
I went to Sauna Center, located right next to Inaricho Station. It's an old-fashioned facility, but it's very clean. The sauna wasn't too hot, making it easy to get in, and the cold water bath was just the right temperature. It was a great experience. After the sauna, I had curry. The spiciness that comes after is addictive. Sauna Center is famous in Uguisudani, but this place is also great.
