Shiatsu Massage Nagomiya Asakusa
Tokyo
レビュー
I had lower back pain from walking all over Tokyo on my 5 day trip. My knee, calves and feet were also very sore. The thought of taking a 10 hr flight in this condition did not sound good so I treated myself to a 90 min Body Shiatsu + Foot Oil Massage. Booking online was very easy. The location was easy to find. Once you step out of the elevators, you’re transported into a serene air conditioned spa. The private rooms are very clean. They provide spa clothes and slippers. My masseuse, Hoshi, did a great job. Before the session, he asked me about focus areas and where to avoid. He checked in often during the session. It’s my first time having a Shiatsu massage (I usually have Swedish) but I think I’m a new convert. The massage was so good that I’m pretty sure I was in and out of sleep. More importantly, I don’t feel pain when walking back to the hotel. Oh and they provide tea after the session. Thank you so much Hoshi!
My friend and I did the Premium 95 minute massage and had the most wonderful experience. Both massage therapist were very kind and attentive. Even after our massage, they served us tea and cinnamon coated walnuts, they even made us origami cranes that matched our jackets to wish us luck on our journey. Great employees, clean spa, highly recommend.
I am an old physiotherapist from Australia, and I saw Mika (first name) Maruyama (last name) a few times in April/May 2026. Her manner and Shiatsu techniques were the best I have experienced anywhere in the world. It is obvious she has many years of experience, continually honing her skills. As always, encounters with clinicians/therapists is more than just touch. Mika's countenance is not only classical Japanese politeness, but she has a warm and engaging manner, and intuitive understanding of a client's needs, that is unusual in Japan. As well as being outstanding in Shiatsu, she is an exceptionally warm and noble Soul, and a soothing balm for tired travelers.
Absolutely wonderful experience for my first shiatsu massage. They have online booking available (in JP and EN), which made reserving a time super easy. The location is on the 2nd floor, there is a sign that says use the elevator in the back (not the stairs) but the elevator to use is the one by the sign. I got the special course, which they give you a soft spa outfit to wear and massage over the clothes, then follow it with a oil foot and calf massage. Finally, the most amazing scalp massage. Hoshi-san's kind manner and perfectly applied pressure made this a life changing experience! He also speaks more than enough English to make sure you are having a good experience. At the end, they kindly serve you with tea (I chose matcha) and snack. I wish I lived here so I could come back and have a massage once a week!
