Unique trendy hotel with records, a sauna and spa and beautiful decor. Great for an area outside the hustle and bustle of main Tokyo and more of a locals experience nearby
Easy 20 minute walk from Shinjuku. A huge variety of food nearby.
ETOE has a wonderfully warm and gentle color palette in the rooms, with daily cleaning service. There’s also an excellent projection screen, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They even offer ice cream liqueur on the first floor. A truly great stay!
Etoe is a beautifully designed and thoughtful boutique hotel. The rooms were very cozy and managed to provide a lot in a small space to make it as comfortable as possible. The QR code process for checking in/out was seamless and I did not have an issue with it as others may have. My stay was only for 2 nights, so having no daily room cleaning was not necessarily an issue but I can see this being a bit problematic for longer stays. The lobby has a few amenities (eg: water, wine, ice cream), but it could definitely use some soft seating instead of just a wood bench. In terms of location, it was convenient near the subway and the neighbourhood was great as well.
