Hotel Livemax Shinjuku Kabukichō
Tokyo
レビュー
I don t know why people whine so much abt this hotel. Yes rooms are tiny and if you stay 2 weeks like me it s annoying if u have big luggages, but 90% of hotels in Tokeyo have tiny old rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful, position is pretty good and high floors have a nice view of kabukicho. If u can get it at a good price is definitely a good place to stay.
People review this place like its a 5 star but it aint, its a 3 star cheap hotel that is fantastic !. staff are great when you treat them with respect. Maids every day to clean rooms it clearly says to hang the magnet if you want clean or not not hard people. Then is the location its fantastic 3 mins walk to main area of Shinjuku best hotel ive had in tokyo and i will come back nex year thanks for a good time :D
Rooms are fantastic if you can book at a good price. Check in and out are by machine in the lobby. Small laundry room available. The room I was in seemed to be soundproof. I would stay here again for a good rate.
Good CP value but house keeping was not good. I remember there were some used cup in the first room I was arranged so I asked to exchange to another room last year. The tissue in the tissue box was dirty this time.
There is a nighttime access control system, and guests need to use their room card to open the entrance late at night, but the instructions are clearly insufficient. I saw several guests stuck outside at night because they did not know how to get in. We booked a triple room but were only given one key card, which was very inconvenient. The non-smoking room still smelled like smoke, one of the light bulbs was not working, and the bathroom soundproofing was so poor that there was almost no privacy. The front desk is on the second floor, and there is another branch less than 500 meters away, so it is easy to go to the wrong one the first time. The price is cheap, but the overall quality and management details need improvement.
