The room was excellent warm, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was very convenient. The location was great, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The accommodation was quiet, peaceful, and private. Most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable, and all the amenities provided were of good quality. The staff were also lovely. They always greeted us with a smile and were very helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our experience here.
Stayed end May. Place is near Tawaramachi St. - 5 min walk. Stayed in 2nd floor - no lift , need to carry own suitcase Room was large - 4 beds, can accommodate 6 people. Has kitchen- fridge, induction cooker, microwave, pots/pan/cutleries/plates, kettle, coffee maker- 2 toilets, shower with tub and sink area- can use as dryer, dining table with 6 chairs (spacious area), air purifier, fan, AC. Washing machine outside, shared - open 1000-2000. Patio with dining table, surrounded by other building. Able to leaves luggage before c.in @ after c.out. Room are clean, beds -firm Had a good night stay. No noise. Love the ambient there, felt calm.
We literally booked this hotel after traveling from Osaka and going to an Airbnb that was horrible. We searched and lucked up on this hotel. We booked it and maybe 40 minutes later we checked in! Check in was so smooth! The hotel felt like it was waiting for us with open arms. We ended up getting room 202 which is the room with the walk out patio area. We were worried about staying in a room with our kids but the room was just perfect and spacious. Modern and updated. They provided toiletries, there's a kitchen area with coffee stuff, a hot plate, fridge, microwave, plates ,cups etc. Can you believe there are two bathrooms?!. Makes sharing the room less stressful The shower area is huge and all the amenities are top quality. The staff is friendly and the hotel is quiet and peaceful The location is perfect. Walking distance to a temple and soooooo much food and shopping area!
We had an excellent stay at GouHou. The staff at the reception were kind, patient, and helpful. We stayed in a ground-floor room overlooking the patio. It had large, comfortable beds, plenty of space, a fine mini-kitchen, a great bathroom, and a separate toilet. It was quiet and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights in November 2025.
Just an excellent stay here with my family with 2 young kids. Staff was so friendly. Front desk had someone there that can speak either English or Chinese. Room is very modern & new, perfect for family and place is impeccably clean. Great location minutes away from train station on Ginza line and so close to Sensoji temple and Nakamise shopping center and lots of places to eat!
