We really enjoyed our stay as a family. The apartment was a great size for the four of us, and we appreciated the small kitchen for making breakfast. The hotel staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with anything we needed. The location was perfect with easy access to transportation from Ueno station, and we could walk to 7-11, the National museum, and most areas of Asakusa.
We(2 adults and 2 kids) stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and functional. We liked the fact that it was close to Ueno station which enabled us to take the subway to all the places we wanted to go. There area is quite and safe. The staff were friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.
The rooms were clean and spacious by Japan standards and was great for a family of 4. The reception and cleaning were always helpful with hotel related items as well as suggestions for nearby activities. Location was close enough to the train but far enough to offer a good night's sleep away from the chaos. Would definitely recommend!
First of all the staffs are amazing, they were welcoming, informative and good english speakers. The cleaning staffs always kept our room clean and organized. The location is excellent and only 7-14 mins walk to the ueno train station. I love that the hotel location is quiet enough and 7-14 mins walk is the train station and shopping and eating places. Ueno zoo and museum is also a walking distance. And also asakusa. Highly recommend for family and single travelers.
Excellent place to stay in Tokyo – I can highly recommend Mimaru Tokyo Ueno East, especially for families or longer stays. The apartment was absolutely clean, spacious, and very well equipped – it had everything we needed, so we felt really comfortable throughout our stay. A big advantage is the on-site laundry, which is extremely convenient when traveling. The location is great – there are shops nearby, and both the train station and metro are just a few steps away, making it very easy to get around Tokyo. There is also a beautiful park right next to the hotel, which is perfect for a walk or relaxing after a busy day. It’s an ideal base for exploring the city and taking trips around the area. Overall, a very practical, comfortable, and well-functioning place to stay. I would definitely come back.
