Shiba Park Hotel
Tokyo

To us, our room 1208, was the best in the hotel. There are 3 in our family so an extra bed was added to the room, which was large and comfortable. What I liked about room 1208 was it was on the top floor, end of corridor (thus no foot-fall past our door), and furthest from the lifts. The view out was over the city, I believe lower floor rooms on the other side of the hotel do not have city views. There is everything in the room, pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers, toothbrushes, etc. The staff are great too. Look out for the old bonsai tree in the lobby.
The hotel was excellent! We were a family of five and we took two rooms. Everything was cozy and clean. Everything is within reach and affordable. The amazing part of the hotel is the incredible staff! They were always welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back
We stayed at the Shiba Park hotel twice In our recent visit to Tokyo. We were meant to stay in another hotel but after two nights moved back to Shiba park due to the quiet location and large size standard rooms. The hotel staff were friendly and kind and helped us to transport all of our luggage from the taxi to the room. They also let us check in early. The location is quiet for Tokyo which is a plus because it means no late night noise and no one lingering outside of the hotel. The free walking tour and tea ceremony was a plus - I’d really recommend anyone staying here for their trip to Tokyo. There are several train stations within a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel meaning you can travel to pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. I look forward to our next visit here.
We had such a lovely time staying here. Location is perfect, right behind the Tokyo Tower and the beautiful park where you can enjoy a lovely walk, especially in the morning. It's a local area and there are several restaurants and cafes. The room was very comfortable, we had a queen bed and slept like babies. The hotel itself is amazing, they have a library on the second floor where you can read books. You can also leave one and take one, such a great initiative. Breakfast was delicious and with a variety of local and western options. Highly recommend staying here.
We had a tripple room for a 5 night stay in Tokyo. We really liked the location as plenty of places to eat, grab coffee etc.. in the local area, not too touristy so lots of choice. The beds were comfy and even though the room was small (bunks and 1 single bed) it was light and airy with a nice view of the local skyline. Well placed for the subway, busses and convenience stores should you need and the hotel common areas are well designed. water stations and reading rooms on all floors and a little library area on the 1st floor. Beds were really comfy and the toiletries were really nice with lots of little nice touches.
