A few hours before our arrival, we received an email with the access codes for both the main entrance and the apartment door, which made check-in very easy. The apartment consisted of a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom, and it was not small at all. I would estimate its size to be around 35–40 square meters, which felt very comfortable by Tokyo standards. The kitchen was fully equipped with enough pans, dishes, cutlery, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. There was also a microwave oven, which was very useful during our stay. The refrigerator and stove were modern, clean, and worked perfectly. The apartment also had a TV, an iron, and a hair dryer, all of which were in excellent condition. In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and hairbrushes were provided. There was also a washing machine along with laundry detergent, which was very convenient. The bedroom was spacious, spotless, and furnished in a traditional Japanese style, which gave the apartment a very authentic atmosphere. The flooring had the feel of traditional tatami mats, the bed was low to the ground, and there were small floor cushions and a low table, all of which added to the Japanese experience. Extra pillows and blankets were available, and the sofa in the living room could also be converted into a bed. The air conditioners worked perfectly, and we especially appreciated that the ceiling lights in both the bedroom and living room had adjustable brightness settings. We also found two umbrellas behind the entrance door, a thoughtful touch. Finally, I would like to emphasize that, just like almost everything else we experienced in Japan, the apartment and all of its furnishings were exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. Contrary to some reviews we had read, we did not hear any train or subway noise at all. In fact, the apartment was remarkably quiet throughout our stay. Another major advantage was the location. Being able to walk just two minutes to the nearest station made it incredibly easy to reach Shinjuku and Shibuya. In summary, I genuinely cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this property. Everything was far better than we expected, and our stay was extremely comfortable. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.
Quiet, lovely apartments in a great location close to Shinjuku and the Yamanote line. There's a kitchen, washing machine and the living space is great. The owner is also very kind and helped us with luggage delivery.
It is a self service apartment with complete amenities if you are into cooking. Room variety, 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms. Has small tub with hot and cold shower, has washing machine, has a separate toilet bowl from the shower/tub. our apartment is has 2 bedroom(one master where the refrigerator w/ freezer, stove, sink and tv is located with collapsible table for dining and another room solely for sleeping good for 4 people.
Fantastic location right in the heart of Shinjuku, with easy access to the business district and just a short walk to the station — perfect for getting around Tokyo quickly. The unit itself is surprisingly spacious for Tokyo standards. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen (everything you need for simple meals), plus the convenient separate shower/toilet/laundry room setup — very practical for longer stays or families. The host was extremely accommodating: when we requested a room change because my elderly parents struggled with stairs to the 4th floor, he promptly arranged a different unit without hassle. Great communication and flexibility. The only real downside is the lack of an elevator — the narrow staircase can be challenging for elderly guests or anyone with heavy luggage. If mobility is an issue, this might not be ideal. Overall, excellent value for a comfortable, well-located stay in Shinjuku. Highly recommended if stairs aren’t a problem! Would book again.
This is a really good place to stay in, the rooms were very clean and modern. The tv had a few western programs, it was close to the train station and it had a few shops nearby. The only issue is that they don’t have an elevator, so if you’re on the top floor you’ll have to carry your bags all the way up.
