Dormy Inn Premium Kanda
Tokyo
Reviews
As many Hotels the rooms are tiny but the pillows are incredibly hard. Location and service is great. And they have a nice little public bath with sauna upstairs which is great.
Great experience! Such a convenient location, walking distance to Akihabara and it's right on the Yamanote line. Loved the amenities and services, especially the free ramen in the evenings which was always welcome after a long day of sightseeing. The open-air onsen was wonderful; the only downside is that it's closed for several hours every afternoon for cleaning so you can only go in the evenings or mornings. You do have to cover tattoos and go in fully nude, which may be a problem for some tourists 🤷 Staff at the desk were helpful and we were able to store luggage on our checkout day.
Excellent location from Kanda Station 2 mins away and will take u on any train in Tokyo. Tokyo station is in the business district and is 1 stop away. EASY to use the underground. The station map not only shows you your destination it also tells you the cost of your journey from station to station before you buy. The hotel has a spa. The rooms are spacious. The breakfasts are a mix of western and Japanese foods which you are likely to partially convert. Lots of eating places
We, 2 people, stayed at this hotel for 10 nights. The room was big enough for us (15sqm I believe). The best parts about this hotel is the location as well as the public bath on the 12th floor. If you like onsen which includes indoor and outdoor heated pool, sauna with ~100 degrees, and a cold bath, this is for you. Everything is clean and easily accessible, and you always have a post "snack", ice cream or a type of fermented milk drink (yakult) depending on the time of day. They also offer a free bowl of ramen as evening "snack" which is much appreciated. A few meters next to the entrance, you can go down to Ginza line (stairs and elevator) which worked well for us. A bit further you have other train lines at Kanda station and Ogawamachi station. Reasonable price, friendly and helpful staff, super location (5-10 min walk to Akihabara), and clean rooms. You don't need more than this if you want a good hotel stay in Tokyo.
The onsen facilities were very clean and relaxing, with comfortable water temperature that helped us fully unwind. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a truly restful stay. The room was well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well. The staff were polite and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and highly recommended.
