Stayed at Hotel Tomos Asakusa twice during our trip - that already says a lot 😊 The staff are genuinely exceptional: warm, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. The hotel is spotless and very well thought out, with lots of small details (complimentary water/coffee, toiletries, etc.) that make a difference. Location is great too - central Asakusa, about 10 mins walk to the metro, bus stop right outside, and a 7-Eleven across the street. Everything just felt easy and welcoming. Would 100% stay again!
This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Tokyo. The staff was incredible - friendly, kind and so so so helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of them. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We loved the rooftop deck (amazing view of Skytree!) and the coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby.
The room was bright and comfortable, with a balcony a view. It was well equipped with a pleasant shower and supplied the room fresh towels and cleaning products if necessary. A smart tv meaning you can login to your netflix or disney account if you have one, and free coffee from the machine downstairs. You also have access to the shared rooftop area with chairs and sofas and an excellent view of the Tokyo skytree. In our stay, we travelled to places like Akihabara, Shinjuku, The Imperial Palace, and Kamakura. All of these places required you to walk 10 minutes to Asakusa station but the walk along the river was very nice and the cherry blossoms were in bloom. Asakusa provided a good mix of busy and calm, modern city and cultural tradition, and beautiful architecture blended with everyday life. And there is also a 7/11 across the road. Strongly recommended this hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view of the Sky Tree was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more special. Both the day and night staff were brilliant, kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was neat, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you team Tomos for a lovely stay. You guys are amazing.
The Tomos Asakusa was our basis for exploring Tokio for five days and we loved it. Very nice and relaxed neighbourhood with great public transport connection with the Ginza line subway, a 7eleven across the street and many nice restaurants and bars around. Especially the team was super friendly and helpful and makes for free the best matcha we had in tokio :) The small and cozy roof top area is opened for all guests and offers a great view on the tokio skytree. Perfect for having a late night drink from 7eleven and relax after spending the day in the city.
