Great hotel: very clean, very good matress and pillows, large shower, air-conditioned, nice to have a little kitchen though we did not use it. Well situated in Tokyo in a close walking distance to metro and station yet calm. Great to have 4 washing machines and dryers at disposal for a small fee. No cleaning for less than 7 nights stay but we could order new towels. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend .
Great hotel. Convenient location near Ueno station, Ueno Park, 7-11, Family Mart, Pillow Stand, and lots of restaurants. Stayed with my family of 5 in Queen premium. Husband and I had queen bed area with sliding door. Girls(22 and 23) had two twin bed area with sliding door. 18 yr old son 6ft 3in (191cm) slept on extra long L-shaped sofa and was able to stretch out. Coffee table, dining table and built in shelves offered lots of surfaces for everyone’s stuff. Took advantage of water pot, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, etc in kitchen area for tea and late night 7-11 heat and eat. Room and bathrooms (separate toilet from shower/sink rooms) were very clean and good condition. Only improvement would be ability to ship/receive luggage. For shipping luggage to Kyoto we ended up using the Bounce app to schedule and the Yamamoto transport drop off office was just a couple blocks away so it worked out ok.
The hotel is conveniently located near the station. However, basic amenities such as toothbrushes, tea, and bottled water are not provided, so you have to buy them yourself. Because of that, I felt the room rate was a bit expensive for what was included. There are convenience stores nearby, so it's easy to pick up anything you need. There is no full-time front desk staff, which could make check-in or getting assistance a bit difficult if you arrive late at night. We arrived during the day, though, and there was a staff member available to help us with the check-in process. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were quite firm. 😅 There is also a laundry room downstairs.👗🧺 One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the bunk beds. They made the room feel more spacious and gave us plenty of extra space to move around.
I stayed at this hotel for a week and would definitely recommend it. It’s located in a quiet part of Ueno, yet still within walking distance of major attractions and train stations. We walked daily to Ameyoko Market and Ueno Park, which made the location especially convenient. I think this hotel is also great for families. The rooms are very spacious and include a fully equipped kitchen and dining table, which made the stay feel much more comfortable and practical. The front desk staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and we were also given a higher floor with a really nice view. I would absolutely stay here again. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps at the hotel entrance, and there is an elevator. The rooms are spacious with step-free entry. The bathroom is a bit tight, but smaller wheelchairs should still be able to fit.
Keyless Entry: Love the passcode system! No need to carry or worry about losing a key card. Prime Location: Extremely convenient. Just across the street from Ameyoko Market and surrounded by 7-Eleven and Family Mart. Spacious Room: Very large room with plenty of space for many guests and lots of luggage. Great Layout: Separate and wide bathroom/toilet areas. Well-Equipped Kitchen: Comes with a stove, microwave, dish soap, and a huge fridge. Perfect for long stays.
