Good to be back at OneFive . I stayed here last year and loved the peaceful location, just minutes from the main shops and attractions. The manager Mary Ann was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Tokyo.
The staff and amenities were excellent! Great job! However, the vents to the air conditioner had a thick layer of dust in its filter. There was also a thick layer of dust underneath the two beds. This explains why I saw dust floating in the air within the room. The receptionist mentioned that there's be an inspection of the AC unit during our stay, but this didnt seem to include cleaning the AC unit. There were alot of marks on the walls as well. Great location, but other tourists treat the hotel like its their home and without respect. They leave trash in common areas. They give tourists a bad name.
Rooms are what you’d expect in Japan; tiny. Service is good. They know English. Location is prime, it’s why we chose the place. However the WIFI here is absolutely shocking! So if you need a good internet connection I wouldn’t recommend.
Small very basic room but clean and convenient. Beds quite firm but honestly needed after a 11 hr flight. We each had a small carryon and backpack and fit very snugly in 2 twin beds. Could not walk between but AC very good. Front desk staff were excellent, friendly and cheerful. This hotel is off the main drag enough that it’s a quieter area but also the rooms are quite soundproof. Our whole floor appeared occupied but I didn’t hear any of our neighbors and I’m a light sleeper. Blue bottle coffee is across the street and quite good and had food trucks mid day. Roasted coffee laboratory is also across the street and phenomenal, the scone pancakes were a twist on the fluffy pancakes, small but incredibly dense and delicious. Very close to Yoyogi park&Meiji Jingu. Close to Parco and 15 min from Scramble. All in all a very easy hotel for our first two nights in Japan.
