If you walk into Samboa expecting theatrics or a Worlds Top 50 vibe, you’ve missed the point. This small, old-school chain is the embodiment of restraint. The room is simple, the bartenders are precise, and the experience is refreshingly free of judgment or pretense. Some call it boring. They’re wrong. Samboa is timeless. The Highball is clean, cold, and perfectly balanced. It arrives with quiet confidence, and at under 1700 yen, it feels like one of the best values in Ginza for that level of execution. No smoke, no foam, no performance. Just craft. This isn’t where you come to party. It’s where you come to decompress. To think. To drink something made exactly right. Recommended for those who appreciate precision, no fuss, and an honest pour at a fair price.
It is a very old style bar. We have visited there as second round. Their hospitality for new comer was not so welcoming. That’s what I felt. Maybe we didn’t wear luxury attire. We have ordered 2 drinks each. Maybe it is fun if you have visited there multiple times or you are older.
Top notch cocktails, great WiFi.
