1899 Hotel
Tokyo
Recenzje
Extremely clean rooms and well kept hotel. Staff is excellent. For a boutique 3 star hotel, 1899 is a very solid choice. The price - incredible. Could easily charge 25% more and still be a great deal in central tokyo. Quiet location away from the madness of areas like shinjuku and shabiya but still very easy to get everywhere. 7/11 directly across the street. Chaya cafe in the hotel is great for light lunch. Multiple local restaurants within 3 min walk including great coffee. Subway station 4-5 min walk and two different train station 8-10 min walk. Central train station is 2 miles away. Deciding where to stay in Tokyo can be overwhelming, you won't go wrong here.
Great spot! Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights and it was perfect. Spacious rooms, kind and helpful staff, amazing tea, comfy pajamas, the list goes on. Location is also great, in a quieter part of Tokyo that also has close transit access and a great running loop around the imperial palace. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. If I am in Tokyo again I would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff, immaculate rooms (and I am very very picky about cleanliness), and pretty good location that is a short walk from the train station. There is also a very nice clean laundromat less than 10 minutes walk away that we used.
10 to 15 minutes walk to the train station. Not many restaurants and convenience stores are near by. The room is nice, but not very clean. Lots of dust, blood stain on the curtain and our washroom had a funky smell. There were also lots of mold around the bathtub and purifier. Great service. Need to pay for breakfast (buffet style). Tea ceremony is located at the check-in. Due to the cleanliness, we would not return.
I cannot even describe how incredible this hotel was for our first stay in Tokyo. Every detail of our trip was artfully and carefully done. The rooms were smaller but that is very much par for the course in Japan and what should expected at most hotels compared to Western style. The rooms was perfectly cleaned once you placed the sign on the door and water stocked daily, which was a lifesaver. I highly recommend the tea service, which was so wonderful, artful and done with such care. The breakfast is extra but WELL worth the price. It had a massive variety of food and so many interesting and unique foods. I know I will miss the Macha muffins when I am home. I recommend making your own tea or trying your tea of the day at the drink station. The location was close to many stations and to Tokyo Tower. The area of the city was very quiet and calm. I never slept so well on vacation. The staff was attentive to our every need and were very patient with our English/broken Japanese. I cannot recommend Hotel 1899 more and hope to stay here again.
