APA Hotel Ikebukuro Station North Entrance
Tokyo
Recenzje
It is a little far from the station, but it is not bad because there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The service and facilities are ordinary
A clean and comfortable hotel with a great location! Booked this last minute and the relatively affordable price for Tokyo caused me to lower my expectations--however, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and good condition of the facilities. (Perhaps it has been renovated recently because everything looked very fresh.) The hotel is located on the quieter side of Ikebukuro station just about a 5 minute walk from the action. Check in was smooth. This hotel was in great shape and impeccably clean. The room was characteristically small (not a problem to me) but well-designed and featured all of the amenities I love about many hotel rooms in Japan. I enjoyed a pre-dinner bath and--little thing, but I loved it--there was a comfy yukata in the room to relax in while I put on my makeup. This hotel is also set up to make English speaking foreigners comfortable. The TV in the room featured helpful information for tourists including a video on how to properly wear yukata! I've seen a few reviews for this hotel mention that the location may not feel safe for women. As a women traveling alone, when I returned at night I did not feel at all unsafe. The hotel is very near main streets and, while there are some girls bars and such nearby, I didn't feel at all unsafe. Summary: Great value, clean, great location--book it!
