Stayed here as part of our last stage of our holiday. It’s a clean and fresh looking hotel with lobby on 2nd floor - and yes everything is Bach based. It’s not a huge hotel so didn’t feel crowded but in a great location without feeling super busy. Had the king corner which is spacious and electric blackout blinds and sheers. The view from the 11th is the main shopping street and lovely at night. The bar in the evening is also nice and a pianist on some nights. The free menu has limited selection of drinks and snacks but was adequate. The room also had a free minibar so afternoon beer in between shopping trips was good! The downsides: the breakfast is the same every day and can get a bit boring as the choice is limited. Also, something the hotel can’t do much about, is the noise from what is a tunnel that starts near the hotel and is open for a bit so noise echos and when you get the illegal motorbike races it is very loud even on the 11th floor. Ear plugs will help!!
Rooms were roomy for Japan but in need of updating. Worst part of the stay was the food options. Breakfast was a joke by Japanese standards. Very little choice. There were instant oatmeal packages from supermarket and croissants I. Plastic packages . Chocolate cereal as only cold option and service extraordinarily slow. Took 20 minutes for a latte and when I gave up and went to coffee pot it was empty. For room service breakfast they show you a sheet with pre packaged bread and pastry. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Something to consider she. You are picking hotels as every other hotel we stayed at the food was a highlight .Forget about a late check out. They charge for every hour after 11am .
I rarely post reviews as soon as I enter a hotel but Grand Bach is amazing. The rooms are so quiet and well aired that it is as good as home. Everything is very clean and neat as you would expect. Service is kind and very good English. Location is great!
Great value for money. Efficient check-in and check-out. We booked a Bach corner king room and it was quite spacious for Tokyo. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Very convenient location, close to the metro station. The only point to improve was the bathroom cleanliness.

The staff are professional, attentive, and gracious in a way that feels authentic — never forced. Every interaction was smooth and welcoming. They anticipate needs before you even ask. Breakfast deserves special mention. The quality is outstanding — beautifully presented, balanced, and distinctly Japanese with a refined twist. It felt more like dining at a curated restaurant than a standard hotel buffet. If you’re staying in Tokyo and want a boutique experience that combines serenity, precision, and genuine hospitality in one of the city’s best neighborhoods, Hotel Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza delivers. I would absolutely stay here again.
