One of our favorite hotel to stay at in Japan whenever we visit. It's just as small as most Tokyo prime location hotel rooms are. But from the details you could tell the management team here actually care about the customers having a good time and have invested in considerate details in every step of your stay, from assisted smooth self check-in, to free bath salts and supplies, to air purifier, sleeping aid, black out curtains, nicely placed charging ports, functional bathroom, soft and hard pillows and anime TV channels, hair dryer and clothing refreshing spray and so on. Awesome location right on top the train station yet not noisy, I'm a light sleeper and often find myself unable to sleep well at hotels due to light and sound sensitivity during sleep yet I slept fine here. Walkable to all the anime shops, good selection of bars and restaurants nearby and very safe area to be in even very late at night.
Lovely hotel! Fantastic location right out front of Akihabara station electric town gate. Room was very comfy, I liked the big bathroom. Although the room was small (typical for Tokyo) it was laid out well and there was space under the bed to store your suitcase. Breakfast wasn’t great, but the breakfast vouchers can also be used at Starbucks as well, which is what we did after the first day. Handy to have washing machines to do some washing (but only 3). Will definitely stay here again next time I’m travelling to Tokyo
I had a pleasant stay at JR-East Hotel Mets Premier Akihabara and would like to share some feedback... Pros: Location: Excellent and very convenient for travel. Check-in Experience: The male receptionist who speaks English well was very helpful. He made the check-in process quick and efficient without needing lengthy explanations. Breakfast: High quality with a wonderful variety of teas. Suggestions for Improvement: Communication: Apart from the staff mentioned above, I found it difficult to communicate with other members and often had to use a translation device. Breakfast Variety: I stayed for 4 days and the menu was exactly the same every day. It would be great to have some daily variety. Luggage Storage: I would suggest installing self-service luggage lockers with digital pin codes or cable locks for better convenience and security, rather than the current manual system in the lobby. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! I loooooooved this hotel! It's a little more expensive but who cares, look at my view! Super location, literally attached to the JR station, all of the Akihabara toy stores around me, Super Rajikon only 500m away, Tamashii Nation just a few steps away, Yodobashi just behind the building, endless food options and so much more. The staff were very quick to help us check in, high tech check in process and easy to get done. The rooms were spacious and Dyson appliances throughout. But... our favourite had to be the shower!!! Loved coming home after a long day of 20k steps to a phenomenal shower. It was by far my favourite hotel to stay in during our 2 week trip to Japan this year. I'm coming back!!!
Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Akihabara! I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Akihabara and incredibly close to the JR Station. It made traveling around Tokyo so easy and convenient every single day. The surrounding area has everything you could possibly need, from great restaurants and cafes to endless shopping options. Inside the hotel, the rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I was also pleasantly surprised by the room size—it felt spacious and very comfortable, especially for the price. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo!
