My first visit to Gyumon Ikebukuro was a really nice one. The food was solid overall, and the milk pudding stood out the most for me — I’m still thinking about it. I also appreciated how kind and helpful the staff were throughout the visit. The only tiny thing I’d change is the ramune presentation, but that didn’t take away from the experience. I’d happily come back.

Love this place for waygu ramen. The reviews you see reflect the quality of the food, ingredients, and service. While not traditional Japanese ramen, this place is definitely worth the trip. The broth is fantastic. Our party of three had it with no spice, level one spice, and level four. All were delicious. Abdullah was a kind and welcoming host.

When I visited in June 2026, it was a one-woman show! She was greeting guests, taking orders, cooking, and handling payments all on her own. I felt a bit bad for her because juggling all those tasks is hard work, but luckily, it wasn't too busy that day. I think the shop would really benefit from a ticket ordering machine to help ease her workload. As for the food, it was great—the flavors were spot on, everything was served warm, and the gyoza was delicious. I can't compare it to typical ramen shops since I only eat halal ramen, but I truly enjoyed it. I really hope this business thrives!

Hands down this place is one of the best ramen that I’ve ever tasted. I had the japanese soda ramune with the giant crispy karaage chicken with spicy level 1. It wasnt so spicy but the broth was damn good & really soothe my cravings in this sunny weather 🤤 The karaage wasnt so oily either which is really good. so maybe shall up my spice level nxt time when coming here.

i swear the white karaage ramen is SOO good. its has this slight thickness and mushroomy taste and the meat provided was more than enough 🫶 its located on the second level accessible by elevator. i'd say its wheelchair friendly! i think the owner's looking to make a prayer room in the future becaude there's a donation box near the cashier that says 'donate to make a prayer room' ^-^
