We were a group of 15 people, but one person needed to leave early to meet some friends. Because of that, I placed mixed orders — one à la carte for my nephew and the rest as prefix courses. Everything seemed fine at first, and we were starting to enjoy our evening. Then I noticed a male coworker reviewing our order with our server. His tone and attitude were noticeably unfriendly. Shortly after, he came to our table and told me, in a rude manner, that à la carte orders were not allowed when the rest of the table ordered courses. I explained that my nephew would be leaving soon and wouldn’t be staying for the full meal, but he continued to speak to me with the same rude attitude. I became upset and told him directly that if he didn’t want our business, we could leave. He gave me a stunned look and walked away. I thought that would be the end of it, but then a manager came over. She apologized and tried to explain their policy and how they could “make it work” for our table. I understood parts of it, but it was still unclear why I needed to order additional sodas — which we didn’t need — just to allow a mix of course and à la carte orders. By that time, my nephew had already left, so we ended up following the course-only policy anyway. The only compensation offered was an additional 15 minutes for our dining time to make up for the disruption. I also witnessed the manager scolding our server in front of our group. That was unprofessional — both on her part and the earlier coworker’s. If there are issues with staff, they should never raise their voices, criticize, or micromanage employees in front of customers. Overall, it was an unpleasant dining experience caused by unnecessary rules and individuals who did not handle the situation professionally. Flexibility and good judgment are important, especially when circumstances vary. Guests should always feel welcome and enjoy their dining experience. Unfortunately, this situation was completely avoidable. The food was good but not any special because the meat was not seasoned with any signature seasoning or dipping sauces which would differentiate with competitors.

Great place! Super friendly staff and they can easily speak English, Korean, and Chinese if you need it. The food was great and the drink selection was pretty good. Pretty lively place at night. Place was packed when we arrived at around 10pm.

Here’s Option 2 — lively and emotional — now in natural English, with a few extra touches to make it shine ✨ --- Bravo! Love at first visit! I want to shout about this place from every rooftop! This is simply perfection! Let me start with the service — the staff are absolute magicians! I haven't experienced such attentive, warm, and genuinely caring service in a long time. They anticipate your every need, they smile with their eyes, and they make you feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in. It’s not just service; it’s hospitality at its finest. And the food… oh, the food! Pure magic on a plate. Every ingredient is top-notch, incredibly fresh, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality in every single bite — rich, balanced, and utterly delicious. From the first mouthful, I knew I had found my new favourite spot. The atmosphere deserves its own standing ovation! There’s something truly enchanting about this place — soft lighting, tasteful decor, and just the right amount of cosy buzz. It feels like a warm hug after a long day. You relax instantly, both body and soul. You guys are absolute stars! I recommend this place to everyone — and I mean everyone — whether you're a foodie, a romantic, or just someone who loves great vibes. Thank you for creating such a beautiful experience. We’ll be back again and again! --- Feel free to tweak the name of the place or add a specific dish you loved — that always makes it more personal! 😊

Hinomaru was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I had in Japan. The food was outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and careful preparation in every dish. Each bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that make Japanese cuisine so special. What truly elevated the experience was the warm hospitality. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and created an atmosphere that felt both comfortable and genuine. Despite being popular, the service remained efficient and friendly throughout my visit. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between tradition and a lively local atmosphere, making it a fantastic place to experience authentic Japanese dining. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, Hinomaru is a place you’ll want to return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a memorable experience in Japan.
