The staff at the tourist hotel are amazing! So helpful and friendly, we had a lovely man and 2 female colleagues help us track down an important document and saved our whole trip yesterday afternoon. This is our second trip to Tokyo and we checked out of a different hotel just to return to this hotel. Thank you again to the amazing staff we really appreciate you going above and beyond to assist us, so so kind!
Positives: Hotel is great and small. There's not a lot of noise from other neighbours and people are really respectful here - especially staff. Great location with a short walk to the Akihabara train station and the Yodobashi Akiba (8 floor mall with home appliances, makeup, drug store, candy, games). Negatives: Laundry room is small with 5 washers and dryers. The dryers don't dry the clothes well - even after an hour of drying there are damp spots. The breakfast meals are not traditional western meals (what a surprise) but I would recommend the Avocado Toast Meal. I loved it, and I don't even like normal avocado toast!
This hotel on a quiet street worked well for our family of three: friendly staff, very clean room, easy 12-minute walk to a subway station, and it was across the street from a convenience store—we could even see the very top of the Tokyo Tower from our window. The room was small by North American standards, but as we were not there much, it was not an issue. The only (very) minor quibble was that we found the mattresses somewhat uncomfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and have already recommended this hotel to a friend.
The staff don’t speak much English, but they are incredibly kind and helpful. They really made an effort to make me feel comfortable during my stay. My sensei booked this place for me with breakfast included, and I’m very grateful for their warm hospitality. It helps if you know some common Japanese phrases. I truly appreciated the experience 🙏❤️
Location: Very convenient. About an 8-minute walk to central Akihabara, close to shopping, food, and train stations, yet still relatively quiet. Staff: Excellent. The staff were very helpful, polite, and professional—solid Japanese hospitality. Room: The room was quite trendy, with a modern Japanese tatami-style vibe that looks nice and feels thoughtfully designed. Beds were comfortable. However, the room is small. Once luggage is opened, it becomes hard to move around. Fine if you pack light, but challenging with multiple or large suitcases. Overall: Strong points are location, service, and stylish Japanese design. The trade-off is limited space. Best suited for short stays or travelers who value location and aesthetics over room size.
