Our stay at the KOKO Hotel in Ginza was very comfortable and great. We had actually lost one of our phones in the bus going from Narita Airport to Ginza Station, and the staff were very reassuring and helpful in aiding us to call the lost and found number (we couldn’t, due to having an international number). The staff stayed with us the whole time and had the phone shipped to the hotel the next day! We are very grateful to the hotel receptionists, as they were very gracious and communicated well despite the language barrier. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable, although a bit small (which is expected in Japan). Overall, had a great 3-day stay at this hotel and would recommend! :)

The location is GREAT if you can walk a couple of minutes to the train station and the main ginza street. amenities provided near the elevators. The rooms are small (standard in Tokyo) but the cleanliness is great. There is a bag delivery service to the airport that you can hire (paid separately on an app). And there is a 711 opposite of the hotel and a sugi and a handful of restaurants which is convenient too. Would stay here again!

Excellent hotel only a couple of blocks from Tokyo Station. Rooms are compact and very clean. Everything is in good order and no signs of wear and tear. Reasonably quiet considering location. Staff very courteous and knowledgeable. Amenities such as toothbrushes, filter coffee bags and personal hygiene products freely available. When I go back to Tokyo I will stay there again.

Overall great experience. The staff was friendly and polite, we were helped by the staff in training and they did a great job. Definitely it is a popular hotel and the lobby is full at times due to the number of guests checking in and out or waiting for thier taxi. I like the rooms were slightly bigger than what I'm used to in Tokyo. The rooms are clean and up to date. I like the service of holding luggage they offer that definitely helped us while moving around Ginza. Positive experience overall and I would book again.

The hotel is located right smack in between Ginza and Kyobashi, making it a very convenient location for those who like to shop in Ginza and also find the ease of being close to Tokyo Station, which is a shinkansen hub. This also makes for a very easy direct commute from both Haneda Airport (via Keikyu Airport line) and Narita Airport (via Keisei Skyaccess Line). Like most Japanese hotels in the area that are relatively on the inexpensive to mid range, the rooms are on the smaller side. Of note, both the double room and standard twin have the same room area but the double bed leaves a smaller footprint vs two twin beds, so I definitely recommend sticking with the double room instead to have more space for luggages. Honestly, if we're just talking about the rooms, Koko Hotel in Ginza 1- chome is maybe just a little above average: All the amenities you might need are at the lobby, there's a water and ice dispenser there too which is highly convenient, and you can borrow multiple things from the front desk. However, what made the difference to us was the service and hospitality. My family and I were supposed to stay for 12 days but it was unfortunately cut short due to my mother having an accident at a nearby intersection. The concierge was quick to help, called for an ambulance for us, and assisted us the entire time in explaining to the paramedics what happened as I knew very limited Japanese and it was taking a long time to connect with an interpreter from the travel insurance. Also, when I informed the hotel of the need to cut our stay short to return home so my mother could get surgery ASAP, they agreed to refund the costs for the rest of our stay and made the entire process easy. They also left a note on both rooms to come by the front desk to get a refund for the accommodation tax that we had paid as well. A special mention needs to be said to Mr. Yonjan, who helped with all the translation during that stressful night of April 14th, and to Ms. O, who graciously helped us with refunds. Thank you for making what was a stressful situation at least a little bit easier on us. It was very much appreciated.
