Stayed here about two months ago. Late to send this review. Main reason I want to put something on here is the incredible help we got from Dhamala Shankar. Our youngest son ended up needing an ambulance to a hospital. He helped with calling one, the translation, and everything. When we had to change our stay to accomodate a hospital stay, again he did everything to sort things out. Can't say enough good things about him. As for the hotel itself, like most rooms in Tokyo, the rooms are tight. We had four small beds for 4 people, and ended up propping one up, to make room for luggage. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also good way to start the day. Location was fantastic. Close to everything including transport and tons of restaurants. Would stay here again for sure.

This was our first hotel during our round trip in Japan. The hotel is situated very practical, with a Subway station nearby. The rooms are small but very clean. Also the height of the shower not ideal for taller people. For us the most positive part was the breakfast, it's in a garden, and you can also eat breakfast inside if you prefer that. Quality of the food is good with a variety of European food also. You can also eat dinner at the garden restaurant which offers various pizza's and other dishes.

We stayed 3 nights in the first week of May. The location is perfect, close to shops, public transports, restaurants, convenient stores, etc Some minor negative points: - All the USB ports were broken, only 1 was working - Room was fairly small without rack / shelf space. After having opened our suitcases, it's a struggle to place our stuff around - Shower water pressure was weak (probably for water saving but it might not help that much as one would need to take longer shower) - Average breakfast Positive points: - As mentioned earlier, the location is perfect - Very good insulation, we didn't hear any noise from outside & had very good sleep - Clever bathroom design, well used of available space - Bedroom & bathroom were model, bright & clean - Helpful staff - Good quality bedding, pillows - Our room had a medium size fridge & microwave oven which were very convenient - There was a coin laundry which was good for long stay

Hotel rooms are VERY small compared to what I’m used to in the States and Korea. Literally just enough room for one person to walk to get to the bed while the other person is standing by the door or sitting on the bed. I did book the most affordable rooms, so I guess I’m paying for what I got. I expect other hotel rooms in the area to be similar in size in Japan, as that’s what I’m hearing from other reviewers - especially in the Shinjuku area. Location is walking distance from the Shinjuku station, but if you have luggage, it’s not the shortest of walks, and not quite enough to get a taxi. Good for the young, and was ok for my 70+ parents, but I might have planned it better. It is just a block or so away from the busiest part of the city. Other than the location and the size, the hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast (included with our booking) was in a building adjacent to the hotel. It was also very well stocked, clean, and the food was spot on. It was more than I had expected, though no 5-star experience. Venue was pretty and inviting and we had a good time.
