The hotel was nice and the breakfast they offered was good. However, the service staff needs to pay better attention. When they cleaned our room I had a prescription teeth retainer in a cleaning solution and they dumped it down the toilet or threw it out. As we are out of the country three weeks this is a major nuisance. This has never happened at a hotel we stayed at for the four years I’ve had the retainer. Very upset about this.
Great hotel. I paid for the most expensive (corner suite) room and on the first night they simply told me it wasnt available. After I had already paid it. Furthermore they didnt give me a discount on a king room the next one down. Instead gave me credit to use at the bar / breakfast. Both are mediocre and not the type of place i would waste money on when in tokyo with all the great food and drink in ginza and tokyo in general. Very poor booking standards. I find this extremely poor from a 5 star hotel that charges this much. I paid extra to get extra. but didnt
We stayed at 3 hotels during our trip to Japan and this was by far our favorite one! The rooms are spacious and clean, they have japanese bath/showers which are so nice after a long day out. The location is perfect for exploring the city, there's a Ginza station entrance right outside the hotel. The bar is great for a nightcap after dinner. We'll be back!
We stayed in a Luxe Twin Room for our first two nights. The hotel was kind enough to store our luggage while we went on a two-night trip to Kyoto, which was very convenient. While we were in Kyoto, the hotel contacted us to inform us that the Luxe King Room we had booked for our last three nights was unavailable due to a maintenance issue (a broken connecting door that could not be fixed in time). They sincerely apologized and offered us two options: either stay in our original room at a discounted rate or upgrade to the Gate Suite. We chose the Gate Suite, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious, located on the top floor, and featured a huge terrace with a jacuzzi. The addition of a ReFa hairdryer was also a very nice touch. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the location was perfect — just a short walk to Ginza, with a metro station right in front of the hotel. The staff handled the situation with great professionalism and care, which we truly appreciated. Whenever we return to Tokyo, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the entire team!
Excellent hotel. Rooms were modern and of a very high standard. It was quiet & clean. Service was always exemplary. The location was perfect for access to the subway at Ginza. Tokyo railway station only 1 stop on the subway and easily accessible by walking. The Imperial Palace was a very short walk. This hotel is situated in Ginza, so is perfect for anyone who wants to shop!
