My favorite little funky bar, I’ve have been to this place more than twice, probably at least ten times or less, I always kept myself wanting to come back. No peculiar reason, I suspect I like the vibe. I also drank the snake sake, it was alright, nice to try if you haven’t.
We had an amazing time at Kenzo’s! My Buddy and I stopped in on a whim for whiskey while visiting the Golden Gai! We met lots of people from all over; Australia, Sweden, Canada, Japan, India & New Zealand plus some jerks from Finland, ha! The bartender was a very cool & interesting girl studying sociology. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated while sharing great conversation. The drinks were price right too. There was a guitar randomly sitting in the corner. Even though it was missing the high E string it was fun to play. We had an impromptu concert for the patrons! This bar was one of the highlights of my Tokyo experience! A+!!
K-Chan is great ! I had the plum wine Umeshi and Lemon Sour. Stairs are tight, atmosphere just right. Cover charge $500 yen, drinks are $700 yen and up. Try Snake eyes if you dare ! For English speakers ! Recommended. @FlagWithoutBorders
