Your day begins with convenient pickup from your hotel in central Tokyo. Travel in a comfortable black Toyota Alphard, giving you a relaxed and flexible way to explore Hakone without joining a group tour. Start at Owakudani, Hakone’s famous volcanic valley, where you can see steaming volcanic vents, sulfurous landscapes, and hot spring activity. Continue to Lake Ashi, one of Hakone’s most scenic locations. Enjoy the views and, if you wish, take a sightseeing cruise on the lake. Cruise tickets are not included. Next, visit Hakone Shrine, surrounded by beautiful forest and famous for its iconic red torii gate standing beside Lake Ashi. On clear days, you may also enjoy views of Mt. Fuji. Fuji views are not guaranteed and depend on weather and visibility. Lake Ashi cruise and onsen admission are optional and not included in the tour price. The tour includes private transportation, but some sightseeing locations require walking. Pickup and drop-off are available within the Tokyo 23 wards. Please allow for traffic when returning to Tokyo, especially during weekends and holidays.
