This 2–2.5-hour evening tour takes a small group of up to 6 into the backstreets behind Kaminarimon Gate, to two places most visitors to Tokyo will never find. The Sushi Counter
Your first stop is a neighbourhood sushi restaurant that has been feeding local regulars for years. No conveyor belt. No English menu in the window. No tourist-facing signage. You'll eat what the regulars eat, in the setting they've been coming back to for decades. The difference between this and every tourist-friendly sushi experience in the city is immediately, unmistakably clear — and that difference is exactly the point.
The Bar
The second stop is where this tour becomes something you'll tell people about for years.
This bar does not accept groups of foreign visitors who arrive without a Japanese local. It has no online presence, no Instagram tag, no mention in any guidebook or travel blog. The owner has spent years building his regular clientele, and he protects that atmosphere carefully. Your guide's personal relationship with him is the only reason the door opens for you tonight.
Inside, you'll drink what the regulars drink, sit where they sit, and experience a corner of Tokyo that exists entirely outside the tourist infrastructure — the Asakusa that hasn't changed, that locals quietly protect, and that the vast majority of visitors to this city will never see.

Meeting Point
We meet outside the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center — the distinctive wooden building directly across from Kaminarimon Gate. Your guide will be there 5 minutes before the start time.
